Make a difference in the Colfax School District.

A Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) gives parents and staff an opportunity to work together to help meet the needs of the students and staff of the schools in the community.

In Colfax, WA, we have a thriving PTO that works to enrich and supplement the educational experience of Jennings Elementary and Colfax Junior/Senior High School.

The PTO meets 5 times a year to talk about the schools, discuss teacher needs/requests, brainstorm enrichment opportunities for students, plan events, and organize fundraisers.

The Colfax Schools PTO is always looking for more volunteers- we don’t have an “official joining process”. Just help out whenever you are able and you are a part of the PTO!

    Here are some ways to get involved: (choose to do as many or as little as you want)

    • Attend meetings

    • Join us on the BAND App for up-to-date volunteer opportunities

    • Volunteer your time to any of our events/fundraisers

    • Sign-up (sheets go out throughout the year) to donate items/funds

    • Participate in fundraisers

  • No! We know how busy everyone gets during the school year so we don’t want you to feel like you have to be at EVERYTHING we do. To be a part of the PTO you can come to 1 meeting, all the meetings, or even none of the meetings!

  • Our meetings take place in the library at Jennings Elementary School.

  • We are here to serve the needs of the schools- we provide enrichment for activities throughout the year, fulfill teacher requests for their classrooms, host two book fairs a year, host activities, raise money for the schools, and so much more.
